CONSERVATION OF CULTURAL HERITAGE: From Diagnosis to Dissemination
Conservation of Historic & Artistic Mobile and Non-mobile Works
We are a international conservation studio based in Mexico, United States and Italy.

Our Services
We specialize in integrating the principles of science conservation and cultural heritage restoration with the historical and cultural significance of the works entrusted to us by our public and private clients.
Assesments
Identification of deterioration pathologies in works of art, such as easel paintings, murals, sculptures, altarpieces, polychrome ceilings, and others, is accomplished through a visual diagnosis. If the observations made necessitate confirmation through scientific material studies, analytical studies are proposed to establish a more specific diagnosis.
Technical Studies
The analysis of the materials and technical aspects of the manufacture of historical and artistic works not only allows us to establish the optimal conservation process but also provides valuable information about the historical, social, and cultural contexts in which the work was created.
Conservation
& Restoration
The restoration of works of art can proceed after conducting a conservation status diagnosis, ideally including the identification of materials and manufacturing techniques. However, in some cases, these extensive studies may not be entirely necessary.
Graphic Design for Conservators
As conservators and graphic designers, we understand the importance of disseminating the conservation and research work performed by scientist conservators and conservators-restorers. However, sometimes it is challenging to efficiently communicate the results obtained to academic and general public audiences.

Because microsamples deserve maximum results

Our Solution
DESIGN
MicroCap was designed for the efficient and standardized embedding of millimeter-sized samples.
STANDARIZATION
Thanks to the half capsule wall, samples can be aligned at the same height, making simultaneous polishing easier and preventing over-polishing.
SAVE POLISH TIME
Samples are located at 3mm from the surface for fast, precise polishing. A guide line shows the sample's depth to control polishing or cutting.
GREEN FRIENDLY
The compact capsule size minimizes resin use, reducing costs and waste. With just a few milliliters, you can embed 4 samples and create 4 half-capsules for future use.
Easy of use & traceability
The built-in label space ensures clear sample identification. The embedding process is simple and can be performed with basic lab equipment or using our kit.
Preserves biological samples
MicroCap allows biological samples to be encapsulated in paraffin for study or storage.
